HESCA-1 (Human Embryonic Stem Cell Antigen-1)

The evolution of our understanding of pluripotent and adult stem cell biology requires specific research tools to permit the characterization, isolation, and expansion of stem cells. HESCA-1 is the first in a series of novel stem cell antibodies produced to provide scientists with those needed tools. HESCA-1 recognizes a newly discovered 200kD cell surface protein that has been shown to be expressed in pluripotent human embryonic stem cell (hESC) populations.||Applications: |Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry and Flow Cytometry. Other applications have not been tested. ||Recommended Dilutions: |Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. ||Storage and Stability:|May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
