-20°CDecorin is a small secreted leucine rich proteoglycan that binds to fibronectin, TGF-β and type I and type II collagen. Decorin has been implicated in the assembly of the extracellular matrix and the inhibition of tumor progression.||Amino acids sequence IGPEVPDDRDFEPS (6-19 of the human protein, fragment 36-49 of the precursor molecule bone proteoglycan II). Species crossreactivity: Human, bovine and chicken decorin.||Applications:|Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot.||Recommended Dilution:|ELISA: Use antibody (D1875) at 1:150-1:500. Coat with 1ug antigen per well. Use AP conjugated anti-sheep for detection.||Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Storage and Stability: |Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
