Cross-linked envelope protein of keratinocytes. It is a keratinocyte protein that first appears in the cell cytosol, but ultimately becomes cross-linked to membrane proteins by transglutaminase. All that results in the formation of an insoluble envelope beneath the plasma membrane.||Source:|Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-72 from Human Small Proline-rich Protein 2, fused to His-tag at N-terminal and fused to Myc-tag at C-terminal, expressed in Yeast.||Molecular Weight: |~12.0kD||AA Sequence:|MSYQQQQCKQPCQPPPVCPTPKCPEPCPPPKCPEPCPPPKCPQPCPPQQCQQKYPPVTPSPPCQPKYPPKSK||Storage and Stability: |May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
