In Creative Biolabs' α-glucosidase activity assay kit (colorimetric), α-glucosidase hydrolyzes the substrate mixture and releases p-nitrophenol (OD = 410 nm) that can be measured by colorimetry. This is a simple, fast and high-throughput kit that can measure 0.1-10 mUα-glucosidase activity in various samples.
