- Applications
Western Blot (Cell lysate)
Western blot analysis of HepG2 cell lysate (35 ug/lane) with NEUROD1 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB3857).Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocellular carcinoma tissue reacted with NEUROD1 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB3857) , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. BC = breast carcinoma; HC = hepatocarcinomaImmunofluorescence
ES cells were transiently transfected with flag-tagged mouse NEUROD1.
Fixed 24h post transfection.Stained for flag tag (red) to check that some cells express protein. Most protein was in nucleus but some was cytoplasmic. Stained with NEUROD1 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB3857) at 1:100. NEUROD1 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB3857) showed strong and clear staining with similar pattern to the flag staining.

HyperlinkGene Summary
This gene encodes a member of the NeuroD family of basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factors. The protein forms heterodimers with other bHLH proteins and activates transcription of genes that contain a specific DNA sequence known as the E-box. It regulates expression of the insulin gene, and mutations in this gene result in type II diabetes mellitus. [provided by RefSeq
